A powerful yet gentle antiseptic, Tea tree essential oil is a staple in acne treatments and skincare. In aromatherapy, it is used to help relieve aches and congestion as well as to purify and sanitize the air. Tea tree essential oil is indispensable in aromatherapy.
Botanical name: Melaleuca alternifolia
Country of origin: Australian seedlings grown in South Africa 
Smell: Green, leathery, herbaceous, fresh, medicinal, woody, powerful.
Use: Add a few drops to one of our neutral bases or a diffuser (see below for ideas on how to use).

Store this essential oil in its original tightly-sealed amber bottle, away from heat, light and ambient air. Essential oils are best preserved in temperatures between 5°C and 40°C.

Caution: For external use only. Always dilute with a carrier oil. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Essential oils are highly concentrated and should be used with care. Always do a patch test* in the inside of the forearm to check for skin irritation and sensitivity before using any of our products.
If pregnant, breastfeeding or taking medication, we recommend consulting with your health care practitioner before using.
* Patch test with essential oils: Dilute 1-2 drops of essential oil in a teaspoon of carrier oil (olive oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil…) and place a pea size amount of the diluted mixture to your inner forearm. Place a bandage over it and wait for 24 hours. If there is a reaction within that time frame, discontinue use of essential oil.
