Hyaluronic Acid How-to-use

Direction:

Incorporate:

  • 0.1 to 0.5% in an unscented face cream or body lotion
  • 0.1 to 1% in a hydrosol

After incorporating and mixing the hyaluronic acid in a base, wait for about 10-15 minutes for the powder to absorb the water. Mix it again and use!

Hyaluronic acid has a natural tendency to thicken a product. Keep this in mind when adding to a face cream. For example, adding 1% hyaluronic acid to water will give it a “runny gel” consistency. Adding 1% hyaluronic acid to a cream will give the cream a firmer and thicker consistency.

Caution: For external use only. Never use directly on skin. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. Always do a patch test* in the inside of the forearm to check for skin irritation and sensitivity before using any of our products.

If pregnant, breastfeeding or taking medication, we recommend consulting with your health care practitioner before using.

Hyaluronic acid powder is very volatile. Do not breathe in and use a face mask when handling.

* Patch test: Dilute 0.1 g of product in a teaspoon amount of neutral base cream or gel and place a pea size amount of the diluted mixture to your inner forearm. Place a bandage over it and wait for 24 hours. If there is a reaction within that time frame, discontinue use.
